Why have two photographers?
Firstly, you get two completely different perspectives of your day and no important moments are missed! and there is less time waiting around for photographs to be taken. Also, while Edyta is photographing the bride’s preparation, Lee leaves to capture the groom’s preparations. Having both preparations captured can make all the difference when viewing your slideshow, photos and album.
Where are you based and where do you work?
We are based in Wexford in the Southeast of Ireland. We shoot weddings all over Ireland and pretty much anywhere we’re asked!
Are there additional travel charges?
Travel throughout Ireland is included.
What if it rains on the day?
Don’t worry, stock some brollies to match the bridal party, we’ll find the perfect spot and you won’t get soaked. Also most hotels have certain areas ideal for family portraits. Remember the Bridal Suite is a perfect location for taking photos of the bride and groom.
Do you take posed group photos?
Yes, family shots are very important and we give a little direction as to where is best to stand etc. We do this in the most efficient way possible which means you have more time to spend chatting with your guests and enjoying the party.
Do you need a checklist to work through?
We like to call the couple about a week before the wedding day to go through our daysheet. This takes approximately 15 minutes and outlines various details such as timings and locations, bridal party and contact information. We like to leave it as close to the day as possible to call you because most details of the day are concrete by then.
How many photos will we get?
The number of photographs you will receive will depend on the package you have booked. A full day package consists of 450+ images, whereas a half day consists of 300+ images. Each image is individually edited and colour corrected to ensure they look amazing and are consistent. Your photographs will be unwatermarked and of a high resolution, ready for printing.
Do we get to keep the digital, printable files?
You will be provided with high-resolution digital files on a USB Flash drive. You can make unlimited personal copies, prints, and albums for your friends and families with no extra charge. However, Wexford Wedding Photos Ltd retains the copyright to the images and the right to use them for promotional purposes, competitions, online website, and professional review.
When do we get our images?
We provide your images on USB within 8 weeks from your wedding day. If your package contains an album, we ask our couples to pick their favourite 100 images from the USB and email or text us their selection, where we then design the album and send you a digital sample to make sure you are happy. We also ask you to choose your favourite photo for the cover.
What way does payment work?
A fixed booking deposit, depending on the package is required to secure your date. Deposits can be paid through our website in the packages section at the bottom of the required package or if you prefer, we can send on bank details. The final amount is due one week before the wedding.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured with public liability coverage.
Do you have backup equipment?
Every photo we take is automatically backed up to two SD cards at all times. We change cards at regular intervals also and backup up all weddings both to our server and online cloud.
